On Monday night, April 4 design world’s notables gathered at Cipriani 42nd Street, for the annual Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club President’s dinner gala.

For 100 years Kips Bay provided educational and developmental services to the city’s youth to reach their full potential. The glamorous event was also a kickoff for the Kips Bay 44th Annual Decorator Show House. Chaired by the Editor-In-Chief of Architectural Digest, Margaret Russell and designer Bunny Williams, this year’s dinner honored The Kohler Company and raised over $900,000.

Close to 700 guests attended the fundraiser, including Martha Stewart, Aerin Lauder, Nina and David Kohler, James Druckman, Laura and Harry Slatkin, David Kleinberg, Jonathan Adler, Thom Filicia, and many others.

Emcee Simon Doonan kept the festivities going as Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club Choir performed Man In The Mirror and This Joint is Jumpin to the delight of the gala’s guests. As the evening drew to a close, all guests walked away with a goody bag with a … toilet inside! Each party favor bag contained a tile with instructions for a free Kohler Artist Editions Sink, or a Kohler Veil Intelligent Toilet, attached.

This year’s Show House will be open to the public from May 12th through June 9th.
