Designer Lisa Perry and Eric Firestone Gallery were pleased to co-host the opening of the first U.S. solo gallery exhibition of Donald “Drawbertson” Robertson on Saturday. Perry, Drawbertson’s good friend and designer, was joined by Carlos Souza and designer, also Mrs. Donald Robertson, Kim Gieske in her co-hosting duties.

The exhibit, #highfuntioningADD featured fabulously scattered internal mood boards and a plethora of paintings, collages, sculptures and #impossiblecollaborations.

Drawbertson is a creative genius. The world is his canvas and life is his paint brush. He takes every day occurrences and tapes, paints, doodles, etc. on whatever he can find creating a bright and energetic masterpiece. You can’t help but be mesmerized by the eye-popping combination of colors.

Many friends, guests and supporters attended the opening in support of Drawbertson and his work. Some even dressed in Drawbertson-themed attire. The guest list included gallery owner Eric Firestone and family, Samantha Perry David, Kata De Solis, Whitney Fairchild and Dylan Lauren.
