Dogs, sweets and ’90s tunes! What could be better? Dylan’s Candy Bar is partnering with the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) on July 8 to host a dog adoption event in East Hampton. Dog and music lovers rejoice—Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20 will also attend!

Founder and CEO of Dylan’s Candy Bar Dylan Lauren created the foundation Dylan’s Candy Barn to help animals in need. The granting foundation supports animal welfare organizations by hosting events at Dylan’s Candy Bar locations, encouraging adoption, assisting rescue efforts and highlighting the value of formal pet training and care.

The dog adoption will take place from from 2-3:30 p.m. on Friday. Free ice cream scoops will be available to those who attend. Enjoy an afternoon surrounded by adorable dogs and candy with the possibility of leaving with a new furry family member!

Based in Wainscott, ARF actively rescues cats and dogs, provides quality care and offers sanctuary until loving homes can be found. AFR is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization funded entirely by private donations, and is and a “no-kill” adoption center. For more information, visit arfhamptons.org.
