J. Crew president and one our favorite best-dressed designers, Jenna Lyons, released a few images from the upcoming fall catalogue. Jenna credits Edith Beale’s eccentric, layered style as an inspiration for their fall collection, describing it as “Edith Beale goes-to-Girl Scout camp.” Jim Mora, head of J. Crew weddings calls it “Grand-ma chic with an emphasis on layering.” We are not-so-patiently waiting for the catalogues to arrive this week. In the meantime, a trip to our grandmother’s closet is in order to scavenge for some Beale-worthy style tips.
