Estée Lauder Companies and Elizabeth Hurley Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month at The Tribeca Grand

Friday, October 3, 2014

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The Cinema Society with Estée Lauder organized a special screening for the premier of the short documentary “Hear Our Stories: Share Yours” at the Tribeca Grand Hotel on Wednesday, October 1. The film, directed by Jonathan Yi, features conversations between breast cancer survivors and their loved ones, discussing how the disease has changed their lives and relationships.

In the last 22-years, Estée Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign has raised more than $53 million to support global research, education and medical services. With “Hear Our Stories. Share Yours” the BCA is asking survivors and friends to share their stories online. Estée Lauder will donate $1 toward education and medical research for every story, uplifting message, or photo shared on Instagram or Twitter that includes the hashtag #BCAstrength.

Guests included Global Ambassador Elizabeth Hurley, who lost her grandmother to breast cancer, Executive Chairman of the Estée Lauder Companies Board of Directors William P. Lauder, model Jessica Orr, actress and model Sophie Simmons, Socialite and Author Kelly Bensimon, and model Ajak Deng.
