Every girl needs a chic bonnet, or rather a voile du vent (translation: a wind bonnet). These handcrafted (read: couture) beautiful bonnets make us think of both naughty call-girl Catherine Deneuve in “Belle du Jour” and also Jackie O breezing down Fifth Avenue in the early 80s.

Timeless, yet modern and functional (who wants their Warren Tricomi coif mussed up?), the collection is by MLE Hagen. And now you can see the bonnets in person as MLE Hagen is having a trunk show at The Plaza Hotel on October 21st from 1pm to 6pm at the Warren Tricomi Salon. Fighting the elements never looked so chic.
