Ferragamo’s Women’s Resort 2013 Collection Debuts at the Louvre

Thursday, June 14, 2012

History was made this week as Salvatore Ferragamo debuted the Women’s Resort 2013 collection at the Louvre in Paris; the first fashion show to ever be held inside the famous museum.

Fashionistas flew in from all over the world to attend the historic show. Gossip Girl Leighton Meester, Hilary Swank, and Virginie Courtins-Clarins and Claire Courtins-Clarins strolled down the halls of the Louvre dressed head to toe in gorgeous looks from the Ferragamo, of course.

The stunning collection featured muted pastels and warm neutral tones. The models glided down the runway in elegant yet relaxed looks; a cool gray woven fringe dress; a snakeskin accented nude trench coat; peach satin pants with zipper detailing. Each piece was exquisitely intricate.

To finish off the evening, guests were given a private tour of the Louvre’s latest exhibition and invited to dine underneath the Louvre’s famous pyramid. What a night!
