When deciding where to pop in for FNO, I thought: I want a place filled with screaming tweens. Wait, no. Well, unless this place has a VIP crowd, children and adults alike fawning over Justin Bieber, and an assortment of amazing lipsticks in a bevy of colors are being sold for a good cause.

As luck would have it, that place existed–uptown at Dolce & Gabbana.

To my delight, Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun (Biebs’ manager) hosted the event along with a committee of other divine and dapper duos that included Lauren Santo Domingo and Tatiana Santo Domingo, Thierry Henry and Tyson Beckford, and Gossip Girls’  Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle.

Though Dolce & Gabbana is pretty much synonymous with high fashion, it’s now on its way to conquering the beauty industry as well–and last night celebrated its new Passion Duo lipstick, with proceeds benefiting Pencils of Promise (a philanthropy that Braun and the Biebs are heavily involved in).

With celebrity photographer Roxanne Lowit on hand, guests’ portraits were printed on personalized Dolce & Gabbana T-shirts. One of our fave female DJ’s, Hannah Bronfman (apparent as she’s our January cover girl and a feature subject in our September issue), and DJ Ruckus provided the tunes pre- and post-Biebs. Bronfman’s bf, Asher Rother, also gave  a special performance.

Biebs’ performance concluded with a surprise appearance from Usher. Amongst the sea of die-hard Beliebers was Anna Wintour and Bee Shaffer, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, Brooklyn Decker, Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian, Karen Elson, Sophia Bush, Katie Couric, Chace Crawford,  Lala and Carmelo Anthony, Ellie Goulding, Dayssi Kanovas, Rose McGowan, Coralie Charriol Paul and Julia Restoin Roitfeld.

A night filled with Bieber and beauty, fashion and fun, VIPs and D&G? Never say never.
