TourdeGalet poster 2015 no iconsAmongst all the exciting East End summer pop-ups we’ve been sharing with you, comes yet another exciting launch: French luxury men’s loafer brand Galet (known for its classic yet playful designs) is starting the summer season off on the right foot with a mobile store that opened this past weekend.

Called ‘Tour de Galet’, signature loafers in styles ranging from poppy patterns to solid hues will be sold from Galet’s vintage 1940s Citröen H-Van. Yes, a van—and quite a charming one with an eye-catching tangerine color. Throughout summer, it will travel around the Hamptons and Montauk from the beach to the streets. Follow #tourdegalet or the handles below to find the tangerine style haven; shop shoes, hang out on the French lawn furniture, play games, and listen to their music.

Co-founded by Javier Goggins and Jonathan Horemans, Galet’s loafers are all handmade and carefully crafted in an atelier outside Paris, France. Current styles sold in the pop-up van include pieces from the Riviera, Classic, and Resort collections.

Curious to know where Galet is heading to next? Check out their Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook—updates on the latest happenings will be posted with the hashtag #TourDeGalet. Plus, styles can also be purchased on Shop on!›
