Galliano featured in Vogue: Too soon?

Thursday, August 25, 2011

There were murmurs of disapproval in the fashion community recently, when despite the very public racist rant and subsequent trial that recently made headlines, former Dior creative director John Galliano was featured in Vogue’s September issue in a gorgeous spread highlighting Kate Moss‘s lavish and whimsical wedding to musician Jamie Hince. Moss and Galliano have been close friends for years so it came as no surprise that the designer fashioned a stunning wedding gown for his model/muse. But should Vogue have been more conscious of Galliano’s now tainted reputation, and perhaps not included a photo of the happy pals? We want to know what YOU think.
