Soho beware! Resident bad ass and famed tattoo artist Ami James threw quite the bash last night to celebrate the Grand Opening of his new spot The Wooster Street Social Club. The tattoo parlor will play host to reality spin-off NY Ink, of which James is the star, and is bound to up the number of inked kids on the block.
The reality star and his staff of artists played host to an evening of drinks and debauchery (well, nothing TOO crazy), with DJ Mateo spinning tunes, and cocktails and hordevres circling the space. Recent gal-about-town Shenae Grimes was on hand to help celebrate the launch, as well as Jennifer Missoni, designer Yigal Azrouel and closet-tattoo connoisseur and Avenue’s own Peter Davis. Sorry mom, but I won’t be able to miss the opportunity to get inked by this charming stud; I’ll be booking an appointment in no time.
