It was a night of ‘true’ entertainment Wednesday in the big apple. Giorgio Armani and The Cinema Society co-hosted a screening of Sony Pictures Classics’ Truth at the Museum of Modern Art followed by an after party at Armani Ristorante. The Sony Pictures Classic is a newsroom drama that details the 2004 CBS 60 Minutes report investigating then-President George W. Bush‘s military service, and the subsequent firestorm of criticism that cost anchor Dan Rather and producer Mary Mapes their careers. The cast was led by Cate Blanchett as Mary Mapes and Robert Redford as Dan Rather along with Elisabeth Moss, Dennis Quaid, Topher Grace and Bruce Greenwood.

Newly re-educated on a crucial event in U.S. history, guests headed to Armani Ristorante to sip cocktails and socialize. The guest list included Carson Kressley, Christine Depasquale, John Benjamin Hickey, Ben Shenkman, James Vanderbilt, Mary Mapes, and Ginger Sherak.
