Good Deeds Rewarded at the Annual Brazilian Gala Last Night

Tuesday, September 20, 2011

Valentino, Alessandra Ambrosio, Natalia Vodianova and… Jesse Eisenberg? Fashion week is over. Mr. Eisenberg isn’t the most fashionable of Young Hollywood. Hmm. So what were all of these fabulous people doing together last night? Well, they were all at the annual Brazil Foundation IX Gala. Valentino awarded Supermodel Natalia Vodianova with the International Philanthropy Award (she is the founder of The Naked Heart Foundation), noting in his presentation that, “I come with dessert.” The Rio star was also an award presenter, though he couldn’t possibly top Valentino’s smooth come-on. He presented his director, Carlos Saldanha, with the Global Brazilian award. Soccer player Ronaldo, Amanda Hearst and Alejandro Santo Domingo were just some of the A Listers who were there last night. The Brazil Foundation is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the quality of life in communities all over Brazil and their efforts have directly effected over 50,000 people.
