Grey Goose and UrbanDaddy introduce newest flavor, Le Melon

Monday, August 18, 2014

In today’s society, anything is cause for a celebration, and what’s a thorough celebration without appropriate refreshing beverages? Drinks can make or break a good soiree, so I’m not surprised that party goers and socialites gathered to celebrate the launch of Grey Goose’s newest flavor:  Le Melon.

The private launch party, hosted by DJ Khaled, was held on the terrace at the Bowery Hotel. It was the last of a ten-city event series called “Fruit of Kings” that celebrated the new flavor and provided a toast to today’s pop culture kings who consistently keep things interesting.

UrbanDaddy partnered with Grey Goose to launch Le Melon. DJ Khaled served as host in honor of his latest single “Hold You Down” which features Chris Brown, Jeremih and August Alsina. However, the  beats and entertainment for the event were provided by DJ Rich Medina.

Le Melon was inspired by the Cavaillon melon. Apparently these melons were quite a possession by French nobility, royalty and artists. From Provence, France, they were highly sought after and relished for their ripe juices.
