Harlem Haberdashery Masquerade Ball

On a brisk Saturday evening, Harlem Hospital Center illuminated with New York City community leaders (Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer and Council Member District 36 Robert E. Cornegy, Jr.) and fashion stars (including Ty Hunter, Beyonce’s stylist and founder of TyLite) attended Harlem Haberdashery 2016 Masquerade Ball to benefit NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem on Saturday, March 5th.

The Hospital welcomed nearly 200 diverse black-tie guests to attend and enjoy live performances by Rakiem Walker Project and DJ Stormin’ Norman (Sundae Sermon) while enjoying Harlem’s best and brightest restaurant partners: Cheri, Farafina Restaurant & Lounge, Harlem Shake, Lolo’s Seafood Shack and Make My Cake with cocktails by Black Momma Vodka, Harlem Brewing Co., Hendrick’s Gin, Papi Wines and William Wolf Whiskey.

The evening honorees included Man of the Year “Harlem’s Distinguished Gentlemen”: Khary Lazarre-WhiteThe Brotherhood-Sister Sol, Woman of the Year “Harlem’s Inspiring Lady” Tamika MalloryMallory Consulting, and Trailblazer of the Year “The Spearheader” Elena Romero, Celebrated Educator and Journalist. All benefit proceeds support NYC Health & Hospitals/Harlem.
