Hillary Clinton Receives The New York Historical Society’s History Makers Award

Last Friday evening, November 21st, the New York Historical Society held its annual black-tie affair History Makers Gala at the Mandarin Oriental in New York City. The recipient of this year’s 2014 History Makers Award was Hillary Clinton, dressed in vibrant gold.

Louise Mirrer serves as the President & CEO of the New York Historical Society, and hosted the gala along with NYHS’ Board of Trustees. The 2014 Dinner Chairs were Helen and Robert Appel, Diana and Joe DiMenna, Bernard L. Schwartz, and Leah and Michael Weisberg.

Guests included American Biographer Walter Isaacson, Chair of the New York Historical Society’s Board of Trustees Pam Schafler, Pat and John Klingenstein, Ambassador Carl Spielvogel and Barbara Lee SpielvogelChristian Renait, and Susan and Rober Hertog.
