When former magazine editor, and New York resident Molly Guy was planning her wedding, she found herself entirely let down by the selection of gowns offered to her in the so-called “shopping capital” of America. After drowning in taffeta and settling on a gown she “liked but didn’t love”, Guy decided to bring to the city the ideal go-to shop for the Boho bride in all of us. And so began Stone Fox Brides. Located in a bright, open loft in downtown Manhattan, Guy’s bridal shop offers non-traditional wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, wildflower garlands, custom veils and just about everything else you could possibly need for the perfect alternative wedding party.


Stone Fox’s mission? “To offer brides-to-be a calm, luminous space to discover their authentic, untamed, full-blooded wedding style.” Aside from dressing the bridal party, Guy’s service also offers holistic doctors, yoga instructors, make-up artists, and even sex educators to “help women transition into marriage gracefully.” Basically, Molly Guy has thought of everything.
