Introducing Madison Avenue Fashion Heritage Week

Wednesday, October 8, 2014

Exciting news Insiders, this year Madison Avenue BID and the Museum at FIT are pleased to introduce the first-ever Madison Avenue Fashion Heritage Week. From 57th to 86th Street, 16 boutiques along the hallowed shopping corridor will install museum-like displays dedicated to the history of their respective label, in their storefronts.

Madison Avenue Fashion Heritage Week will take place during the week of October 20-26, and will feature the launch of an accompanying mobile app that will serve as a tour guide for the week’s festivities.

The list of boutiques includes Akris, Bally, Brunello Cucinelli, Calvin Klein Collection, Carolina Herrera, Dolce & Gabbana, Emilio Pucci, Ermenegildo Zegna, Etro, Hermès, J. Mendel, John Lobb, Longchamp, Max Mara, Missoni and Mulberry.

A portion of the proceeds from Fashion Heritage Week will go towards the Museum at FIT. For more information, visit www.madisonavefhw.org.
