This time, the well-known philanthropist, avid supporter of the Metropolitan Opera and trustee of the Aspen Institute and the American Academy in Rome is taking on a new role as chairwoman at Carnegie Hall. Having been on the board for 26 years and serving as a vice chairwoman since 2006, enthusiastic Bass undertakes this prestigious role, ensuring the world of music and philanthropy continues to bloom.
