Ivanka Trump is now in Soho

Monday, November 21, 2011

Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry opened a 900-square-foot boutique on Madison Avenue in 2007 offering youthful, classically inspired and well crafted fine jewelry. Now, the brand is proud to announce the expansion of its retail business with the opening of a 2,400-square-foot flagship boutique on Mercer Street in Soho.

Architects David Freire and Laura Reddy from NY3Design took the original Madison Avenue store’s retail concept of a friendly, luxurious “female boudoir” and added some Soho-esque touches. The duo used the same materials from the original boutique and opted to keep the same color scheme of white, black and Ivanka’s signature coral.

“My collection pays homage to the past while embracing the future, which is exactly how Soho has reinvented itself,” says Trump. Soho’s mix of cultures was the inspiration behind the Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry Collection motto: Rock Tradition. “I find Soho’s trademark cast iron architecture and buildings to be remarkably inspiring and look forward to being in a neighborhood with such invigorating energy,” Trump adds.

See you on Mercer Street for some seriously stylish holiday shopping!
