KAWS

KAWS, the artist also known as Brian Donnelly hasdebuted his first public installation in New York City right outside The Standard Hotel. Titled “Companion (Passing Through),” the enormous sculpture was toasted with a party at The Top of the Standard (a.k.a. The Boom Boom Room) with Hennessy drinks and music by DJ Samantha Ronson. We spotted: Dennis Paul and wife Coralie Charriol Paul, Rufus Wainwright, Emma Snowdon-Jones, young designer Logan Scott, China Chow, Lisa Anastos, Kenny Scharf, Bob Morris, Andre Saraiva and Annabelle Dexter-Jones and Sophia Lamar in a handmade KAWS chapeau.

The KAWS sculpture will be up until July and then it goes to Atlanta so better pass by to see “Passing Through” soon.
