Kiehl’s since 1851 President Chris Salgardo held a party to remember last night in celebration of the opening of it’s new Upper East Side location and first-ever in house spa, Spa 1851. Co-hosted by Jeff and Justine Koons, the evening was held in support of The Koons Family Institute, an organization founded by the couple after the tragic overseas abduction of their eldest son. Selgardo presented the foundation with a generous $15,000 check that will go towards ensuring the safety of children worldwide.

The unbearable heat couldn’t put a damper on this party, with The Misshapes spinning tunes, and cocktails a-flowing. Havaianas Sandals supplied adorable customized flip-flops and there were even delectable Kiehl’s-themed cupcakes galore. Guests like Gossip Girl’s Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle, Alan Cummings and Emma Snowdon-Jones perused the new two-story location and I’m sure went home with gift bags filled with the coveted merchandise. Don’t forget to check out this fantastic new store and spa when it officially opens July 20th!
