Kudos to Kramer Design Group

The opening of Alexander Wang’s flagship store has gotten a ton of (much-deserved) hype, but AVENUEinsider believes the design team behind the genius’ genius store deserves some credit, too.

Kramer Design Group works with leaders in fashion, home, luxury and lifestyle brands, developing new signatures, revitalizing existing brands and simply creating enticing environments–and Wang’s flagship store in Soho is no different.

To perfectly complement the vision of the acclaimed designer, Kramer Design Group used a combination of materials and ideas–apparent as soon as you enter the store with an entry way featuring an eye-catching cage-like sculpture covered in greenery.¬† The simplicity of the white walls is off-set in the seating area where there’s an oversized, black leather sofa¬† and a hammock blanketed with black fox fur. And never fear, the store is equipped with generously sized fitting rooms concealed in a modern hall of mirrors…

As this was Wang’s first freestanding store, the designers at Kramer Design purposefully contrasted between clean and edgy materials–brimming with laid-back luxury. The team at Kramer believes that Wang’s “effortless approach to style” is what makes him and his store so alluring. We agree, Kudos to Wang AND the whole team at Kramer Design Group!
