Ladurée Lands

Tuesday, August 30, 2011

Since we seemed to have had a French-themed day here on the Insider (Carine, Cointeau), I’ll leave you with some delectable French food news: the Parisian patisserie Ladurée opened its doors today on Madison Avenue (between 71st and 72nd street): their delicious, melt-in-your-mouth macaroons have finally made their way across the Atlantic, satisfying every sweet tooth in the city. If you haven’t had the chance to taste the crème de la crème of French pastries, I wouldn’t wait another minute and join all the other gourmands waiting in line. Overwhelmed by their colorful array of mouthwatering treats? I recommend the mint and strawberry or the Madagascar chocolate. Bon appétit!
