An intimate group gathered yesterday at the Leron Linens’ showroom at the D & D building to fete Darren Henault and his longtime friend and muse Olivia Chantecaille. The occasion? To toast Henault’s showroom window that he created around Leron’s latest design, “Olivia’s Rose.”

If this sounds like a dream collaboration, well, Henault could not agree more. “It was an honor to be asked to create this window for Leron,” Henault said of the oldest luxury linen company in the USA (founded in New York in 1910). “Its handmade and custom linens are the most beautiful quality and compliment the interiors I love to design. And Olivia Chantecaille is the epitome of style, elegance and grace!”

Summer chic in all white, the lady of honor arrived about halfway through the celebration with her husband, Ren Grady. Among the close friends and well-wishers who congratulated the design duo in the well-appointed space were birthday girl Adelina Wong Ettelson and husband Bill Ettelson, designer and gallerist Daniel Benedict, NYCB principal dancer Troy Schumacher, top male model Chris Collins, L’Etoile Sport fashion designers Yesim Phillip and Hannah Griswold, Fernanda Kellogg, Bernadette Murray, and Leron owners Dale and David Forster.
