Livanna Launch

Monday, November 16, 2015

Oh baby! This Thursday, November 19, marks the launch of new children’s clothing and accessory company, Livanna.

Carrying the namesake of founder Melissa Flores‘ first child, the brand features a number of pieces from whimsical onesies with bunting detail, to knitted sweaters, booties, and hats that are just too adorable to resist. Livanna was created after Flores, (an avid shopper) discovered a demand for high-quality children’s clothing that could be purchased efficiently and easily.

Utilizing her skills studying fashion design at La Chambre Syndical de la Couture Parisiene in Paris, Flores uses only the finest cashmere for the pieces in her line. The special soft light-weight blend is designed to keep children extra toasty while providing a calming and soothing factor.

One continuing source of inspo for Flores are through her travels, particularly between her homes in New York City, Mexico, and Paris. “Hummingbirds sightings are a frequent occurrence outside my children’s nursery in Mexico,” says Flores. “Their agility and beauty fascinate me, and when it time to decide on Livanna’s logo it only made sense to choose a bird that encompasses my intentions for the brand.”

So, mothers, soon-to-be mothers, and to all those who have a special baby in their lives, shop on! Goods from the brand will be available exclusively at
