The ‘Living New York’ forum part 2 kicked off this Tuesday at the newly renovated Living room bar of W Hotel. The first edition of this unique 3-part summer series took place last week and was called ‘Tagged’, which featured Editor-in-chief Eva Chen and other iconic New Yorkers such as Carlos Souza, Mickey Boardman and Jake Shears.

The exclusive panel discussions are a result of collaboration between the W Hotels in New York and a global cultural organization Liberatum. Founded in 2001, Liberatum promotes movies, arts, media and culture through various summits and festival, as well as presents multidisciplinary artistic platforms on international scale. The aim of this concept is to discuss the power of transformation of this diverse city and to show how New York shaped world’s fashion, music and design.

A group of creative minds met in the heart of Manhattan to discuss the influence New York has had on their lives and what impact it had on their careers and passions. Featured guests were supermodel and fashion icon Karen Elson, Academy Award winning filmmaker and screenwriter Paul Haggis, designer and architect Karim Rashid and fashion designer Prabal Gurung. Other notables were Stacy Engman, Tabitha Simmons, Cynthia Kirchner, Pablo Ganguli, Katie Fisher and Joe Zee who moderated the discussion.
