Last night the Love Heals Next Generation Committee presented the 6th annual Healed with a Kiss at Up & Down on West 14th Street. Love Heals is the Alison Gertz Foundation for AIDS Education that empowers young people in the fight against HIV.

AIDS is 100 percent preventable but every hour, two young Americans are infected with HIV. Love Heals has made it their purpose to reverse this trend.

Healed with a Kiss is one of Love Heals’s biggest fundraising events of the year. Their events are always set in dazzling venues allowing their corporate sponsors and donors to come together in a common purpose.

This year’s event featured music by DJ Harley Viera-Newton and was hosted by Annabelle Dexter-Jones and Alexandra Richards. Doug Chabbott, Paul Arnhold and Tracy Dubb served as the event chairs. Rag & Bone New York, Up & Down, Baron Von Fancy, Belvedere Vodka, Budweiser, 6 Shore Road, Flour Shop, Unifund and Alison Lou were the sponsors for Healed with a Kiss 2014. All proceeds benefit Love Heals.

The Next Generation Committee has 80 members and Eliza and Molly Howard are the co-chairs.
