Cool was the operative word at Thursday night’s #LoveEMC event dedicated to child and maternal wellbeing, both domestically and abroad. Christy Turlington Burns, founder of Every Mother Counts, raised awareness and funds for the organization with the help of attendees Karlie Kloss, Domino Kirke, Penn “XOXO” Badgely, Hunter Barnes,¬†Charlotte Groeneveld, and Rebecca Kennedy.

As if the downtown-chic crowd wasn’t enough, indie favorites¬†Cat Power and Guards were the musical guests at the benefit party to the excitement of the denim and leather clad crowd.

The party food was a decadent spread, the drinks were free-flowing, and bowls filled with eco-friendly Sustain condoms dotted the tables, promoting health and wellbeing. Safety first!
