Fashion took on an ethereal quality at the Marchesa New York Fashion week show on Wednesday, September 15.

The show was held at Skylight at Moynihan Station. Guests packed the house, many ducking in just minutes before a torrential downpour swept through New York City. Designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig used their creations to take the packed crowd through one day, beginning with sunrise and soft tints of pink, transitioning to daytime blues and lavenders, and then flowing into dusk and evening notes . With iridescent finishes, intricate jewel work and flowing layers, the models glided down the runway.

Guests in attendance included Alyssa Milano, Harvey Weinstein, Olivia Culpo and Jerry Hall.

The soft rainbow that appeared in the sky minutes after the show ended perfectly mimicked the dresses just inside.
