Kiehl’s Since 1851 celebrated its grand opening of its Nolita location on Mulberry Street yesterday evening. The opening was hosted by artist Marilyn Minter and Kiehl’s President Chris Salgardo.

The first 50 customers who lined up before 6:30 pm were eligible for a chance to win a gift card worth up to $1000. If you weren’t there, you missed out on a chance to get all of your favorite skincare products on someone else’s dime. Let’s be honest, those are the best shopping sprees.

Kiehl’s and Minter submitted a $20,000 check donation to Planned Parenthood of New York City, the organization in which the event was held for. Any customer who purchased one of the limited edition Kiehl’s + Marilyn Minter totes aided to this benefit.

At the opening, a new Marilyn Minter piece was unveiled that was created exclusively for the Keihl’s Nolita store and will be on permanent display there. There was also a photo booth available for guests entertainment and DJ Mad Marj dropped the beats.

Many special guests, both celebrities and not, came out for the event in support of one of their favorite skincare brands, and to enjoy the photo booth of course. Some of these included Orange is the New Black‘s Selenis Levya, Uzo Aduba and Laverne Cox, along with CEO of Vie Luxe International Marjorie Gubelmann, Diane Max and Bill Miller.
