Between the sea of designer dresses and Hermès Birkin bags, it seemed New York Fashion Week had come early. But, rather, the fashionable ladies of the Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering came together with luxury e-commerce site Net-a-Porter for their annual winter luncheon.

Held at the Rainbow Room in Rockefeller Center, the event was co-chaired by Robyn Joseph, Meredith Melling, Marcie Pantzer and Gillian Hearst Simonds. It brings together many of the brilliant people involved with the institution, whose mission is to support cancer research and cancer patients

Speaking of fashionable ladies, who was that model in the white jumpsuit? None other than Karolina Kurkova.

All the way from London, and one of the most honorable guests of the evening was Net-a-Porter president Alison Loehnis. Her company was generous enough to help sponsor this event, along with providing a raffle prize of a shopping spree on net-a-porter.com and gift cards to all invited guests.

Tory Burch must have felt she could afford a break from prepping for New York Fashion Week, because there she was in all her glory.

Who else? None other than the lady whose married surname is on the complex in which we dined, Ms. Indre Rockefeller.

Over 250 guests enjoyed cocktails and a seated lunch with décor by Ron Wendt Design, which included remarks from The Society’s president, Lavinia Branca Snyder and Net-a-Porter’s Loehnis. Dr. Neal Shukla from the Department of Pediatrics at Memorial Sloan Kettering spoke about The Society’s newest initiative to fund research for clinical genomic profiling for pediatric cancer patients, which can help identify gene mutations that lead to the development of cancer.

“This group represents the best of America, where with grace and generosity, people come together quietly to help others they have never even met,” Branca Snyder said.

Other guests for the afternoon included Aerin Lauder, Jessica Seinfeld, Tabitha Simmons, Valerie Boster Macauley, Jordan Foster, Shoshanna Gruss, Jill Kargman, Emilia Fanjul Pfeifler, Ferebee Taube, Eleanor Ylvisaker, Allison Aston, Julie Macklowe, Ali Wise, Rebekah McCabe and Rachelle Hruska MacPherson.

Keep up the brilliant work, MSK.
