Last night, July 9, The Metropolitan Museum opened its doors to a crowd of youthful art enthusiasts, for the annual Young Members Party.

The group of 1,250 21-35 year-olds gathered in the Great Hall for an evening of dancing and cocktails. The Young Members were also treated to a private viewing of the museum’s Sargent: Portraits of Artists and Friends exhibition.

Guests made the most of the Rooftop Garden’s stunning views over the city before the rain began.

Music for the evening was provided by DJ iDEATH, and members took their own portraits of artists and friends using the photobooth on site for the evening.
