Fashion changes and now the way that we buy that perfect black dress has changed as well.

Milly’s Madison Avenue boutique was the perfect venue for the Valentine’s Day themed launch of the new mobile app for HavetoHave.com, one of the fastest growing online lifestyle registries.

Co-founders and Columbia Business School alums Carla Holtze and Kimberly Skelton hosted the evening along with gracious Milly designer Michelle Smith, along with a committee that included Kimberly Guilfoyle; Gigi Stone; Anisha Lakhani; Stephanie Borynack Clark; Ainsley Earhardt; and Tinsley Mortimer.

Holtze explained: “I wanted our official launch celebration to be in an environment it was created for – now our users can keep track of everything they want online as well as in stores while shopping…it’s pretty cool to see them do it for the first time.”

Indeed. As guests the likes of Karen Klopp, Emma Snowdon-Jones, and Tracy Stern milled about, sipping champagne and sampling tea sandwiches and petit fours courtesy of SalonTea.com, each was able to experience Have to Have’s latest technological innovation.  The app allowed the shoppers and revelers to search for their must haves, list them, and share them with everyone from the guest standing next to them to their friends across the world via Facebook and Twitter.

In keeping with the Valentine’s Day theme, one guest was overheard saying: “if he sees it on Facebook, I’m sure he will buy it for me.”

Essentially, this ever so user-friendly app is a one-stop-shop for everything you see that you may want, and judging from the looks emerging from the fall 2012 fashion shows, AVENUEinsider will be using this a lot.
