Sparkling VIPs Flock to MoCA’s 35th Anniversary Gala in L.A.

Monday, March 31, 2014

Last Saturday, a sparkling crowd of celebrities and VIPs flitted to the Geffen Contemporary in downtown Los Angeles for the 2014 Museum of Contemporary Art Gala, presented by Louis Vuitton.

Hollywood notables including Pharrell Williams and his new wife Helen Lasichanh, Dita Von Teese, Katy Perry, Owen Wilson, Jane Fonda, Rose McGowan, Chloe Sevigny, Dianna Agron, Fred Armisen, Rene NavarretteDasha Zhukova, Ryan Seacrest, Haley Bennett, and Mayor Eric Garcetti all made an appearance at the soiree, which was held for two purposes: to honor the institution’s 35th Anniversary, of course, and to celebrate Philippe Vergne officially taking MoCA’s reigns as its new director.

Even the most poised A-listers went a little wild when Diana Ross took the stage and belted out a handful of her most beloved hits. The awesome performance was undoubtedly one of the greatest highlights of the all-around spectacular evening.

In the end, the star-studded event managed to raise a cool $2.4 million for MoCA.

Not bad for a night’s work!
