More fun at AvenuE shows

Friday, March 11, 2011

This morning, AVENUE Shows held one of their signature programs–the Designer Breakfast Panel Discussion. The topic this morning was “Decorating with Antiques in the Modern World”. Show contributor, author and design expert Susanna Salk moderated the discussion with antiques and design experts Alexa Hampton, Maureen Footer and Alex Papachristidis, and opened the conversation up to the audience.

After the panel, AVENUE Shows hosted a book signing for Susanna and Alexa. Alexa met many show attendees, and signed copies of her recent publication, “The Language of Interior Design,” while Susanna also chatted with guests and signed copies of her celebrated “Rooms for Children.”

Remember, AVENUE Shows Antiques & Art at the Armory is open to the public now through Sunday. Stop in, grab some lunch (or a piece of contemporary art, a mid century chair, a beautiful bauble–whatever tickles your fancy) and see for yourself what the season’s best antiques & art show has to offer! One thing’s for sure, you won’t leave empty handed (or want to…).
