Tuesday evening at Naeem Khan NYC Studio, American-Indian designer Naeem Khan unveiled his purple dress partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association. The purple dress partnership is specifically for the association’s 32nd annal New York Rita Hayworth Gala to be held October 27 at Cipriani 42nd Street. This year’s gala’s theme is “Our Future is Crystal Clear” and will be honoring Michele and Larry Herbert with the Rita Hayworth Award.

Princess Yasmin Aga Khan is the one who started the gala event to honor her mother, Rita Hayworth, who died from Alzheimer’s. Under Princess Yasmin’s leadership the event has successfully raised over $65 million thus far. This year’s gala, chaired by Daryl Simon, is underwritten by Rolex. And Naeem’s purple dress will serve as the highlight piece for the silent auction.

At the unveiling, guests enjoyed each other’s company over champagne. Some of these guests were Michele Herbert,  Nina Garcia, Chele Chiavacci, Amra Beganovic, Elma Beganovic, Tony Triumph, Zaheen Kahn and Clarissa Colon.
