A star-studded party was thrown at New York hotspot No. 8 last Wednesday for the much-anticipated launch of NameFace.com.

Created by celebrity photographer Steve Eichner and German tech start-up personality Daniela Kirsch, the website does exactly what its name implies—identifying public figures, socialites, and celebs, making it an invaluable tool for photographers, editors, publicists, and ultimately, everyone in the field of media.

Over 500 VIP guests gathered at the party, which was hosted by Alina Cho, Gillian Miniter, Jill Kargman, Kelly Bensimon, Anne Grauso, Stacey Bendet Eisner and Karen Duffy. While guests danced to the beats of DJ Mad Marj and Nappy G, Eichner expressed a token of thanks for their support. He announced that the first part of the venture’s development was complete and that “now we rely on the help of the community and friends to pledge to our Kickstarter Campaign, which is very important for us to continue.”
