Start 2016 off right with these fresh ideas

4ROLLS- ROYCE DAWN
The name Rolls-Royce itself is a symbol of exclusivity, but for some people the world is not enough. One lucky North American resident will have the distinct honor of being the first continental resident to own the all-new, impossibly sleek Rolls-Royce Dawn. The bidding war for the ultimate luxury vehicle begins January 29 at the Naples Winter Wine Festival. While the fortunate winner gets the honor of the continent’s first Rolls-Royce Dawn flown to them from its manufacturing location in the South of England, they also get to rest easy knowing they did some good as well—a portion of the proceeds raised at the auction go directly to the Naples Children & Education Foundation, making this auction a literal win-win.

BACCARAT FRAGRANCE
This time of year, layering is the name of the game. But before wrapping yourself in cashmere, wool and cozy linens, the first step is a spritz of a bespoke fragrance. A new luxury collaboration from Francis Kurkdjian and Baccarat yields Rouge 540, a fragrance designed especially for the 250th anniversary of the legendary crystal makers. Featuring smoldering notes of amber and wood, the name refers to 540 degrees, the temperatures at which Baccarat forges its signature crystal.

DELTA AIRLINES
Millions of ubiquitous punch lines notwithstanding, we all know that airline food can be, well, a joke.  But it seems everything about air travel these days is getting a serious makeover, and now, in-flight sustenance has officially been upgraded, too. Well, on Delta anyway. Thanks to a new partnership with Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, first-class international flyers can enjoy the taste of Manhattan Italian favorite Marta while cruising at 30,000 feet. With international ski trips abounding this season, the culinary shake-up couldn’t have happened at a better time.

RITZ CARLTON RUM SHOP
A tropical Florida vacation is practically synonymous with rum, which is why the Ritz Carlton’s new stand-alone rum shop in Fort Lauderdale is eagerly anticipated by droves of snowbirds. Thanks to a partnership with Burlock Coast Seafare & Spirits, guests of the luxury resort can enjoy aisles and aisles of bespoke rum, adding a tropical infusion to any vacation libation.

MEDITATION BAR
In a city as fast-paced as ours, a timeout is more necessary than optional. And in the same vein as cars, blowouts, movies, and makeup on demand, peace of mind can be instantaneous as well at MNDFL, an in-and-out meditation bar in the West Village. The meditation classes offered are bit-sized, spanning from 30 to 45 minutes based on what you need that day. Pay per om or purchase a membership for the brief, drop-in classes that range in subject from general meditation to focuses on gratitude, emotions, sex and creativity. Since pure zen seems to top resolution lists every year, drop in, grab a cushion, pick a mantra and get started.
