Art was the main topic of the evening last Thursday, October 29, at the New York Studio of Drawing, Painting & Sculpture’s Benefit Auction and Dinner.

The ticketed event began with a cocktail party and silent auction at the renowned art institution located in the historic Whitney Museum building. Guests celebrated a special toast to honoree, visual artist Vija Celmins. Following, a formal dinner was held at The Margaux Restaurant, where a delectable dinner and champagne were served.

Funds raised from the benefit went to the New York Studio School, to continue providing education programs to encourage and strengthen the skills of aspiring artists.
