The name Oliver Peoples has, for decades now, been synonymous with effortlessly cool and ultimately covetable eyewear. Creative director Larry Leight’s latest collection for Summer 2011 only proves that their mission “to be the most prestigious and culturally distinctive eyewear in the world” is right on track. The collection features updates on classic styles inspired by some of Hollywood’s most glamorous and influential style makers to date. From the Gregory Peck, which honors the 50th anniversary of the Pulitzer Prize winning To Kill A Mockingbird, and Peck’s subsequent performance in the film adaptation, to the glam Sophia Loren inspired Myriel’s, these frames are sure to add sophistication and chicness that only the Peoples’ name knows how to deliver. Check out their website to order online or go take a stroll through their Soho flagship.
