Canadian fashion designer Erin Kleinberg and her pal Stephanie Mark have launched a new website called The Coveted that peaks into the stylish closets of fashion insiders from editors to publicists to the ever present front row bloggers. “We wanted to launch a site that gave viewers a behind the scenes look into the wardrobes of the people who are dictating the direction of fashion,” Kleinberg tells us. “We think it is such a ¬†privilege to be able to see what these individuals covet, wear and love.”

So far The Coveted has featured Elle.com’s Editorial Director Keith Pollock, Karla Martinez, the Fashion Market and Accessories Director of W and Holt Renfrew’s Creative Director John Gerhardt. The Coveted politely asked moi to open up my closet, but even though I may be out of the closet in many ways, I like to keep my embarrassingly excessive collection of belts, shoes and sunglasses to myself. But believe us, I’m in the minority – ¬†expect loads of new inside peeks into the closets of the ultra-chic.

So who can we expect to find on The Coveted in the future? “We are interested in covering people who celebrate and embrace fashion and style and don’t take it too seriously,” says Kleinberg. “The perfect example of this is Tracy Taylor of Net-a-Porter. She is such an influential fashion icon, who embraces bold color, unique prints, and awesome texture and doesn’t fall prey to trends and keeps fashion fun!”
