Now is your chance to own a pair of one of the most iconic shoe designs in history.

Three pairs of Alexander McQueen’s Armadillo Boots are currently being auctioned by Christie’s, to raise money for UNICEF’s Nepal earthquake appeal.

The iconic style was debuted during the spring/summer 2010 Plato’s Atlantis collection, with only 21 pairs ever produced.

The new editions were handcrafted in Italy from wood and python skin and are being auctioned as part of Christie’s Handbags and Accessories event, which also includes unique items from Herm├Ęs, Louis Vuitton and Chanel.

A preview of the new boots was co-hosted by Nell Diamond at the McQueen flagship store on Tuesday, July 14.

The auction will run on Christie’s website until July 23, with 100 percent of the net amount going to UNICEF.
