A toast to South Florida nights! AVENUE celebrated its January Palm Beach issue cover star Kara Ross at a party at Meat Market Palm Beach on January 19, while the Palm Beach A List celebrated itself. All came out in force to raise glasses of Veuve Cliquot in toasts to newly inaugurated editor-in-chief Michael Gross.

Guests mingled around the South Florida steak house, the glamorous space providing the perfect backdrop for some of Palm Beach’s most influential residents.

Ross, who discussed her philanthropic venture Diamonds Unleashed in AVENUE’s January cover story, wore bright Florida colors. She posed next to her cover, where she popped the jewel-encrusted Pinky the Octopus on her head.

Also in the crowd were Earle Mack, Lars Bolander, Muffy Miller, Wally and Betsy Turner, Michael Morrissey and Lourdes de Guardiola, Robert Riva, Suzanne Kent Cooke, Lisa Salomon, Christopher and Lizzi Bickford and Sharon, Lady Sondes, with her beau Geoffrey Thomas. Some of them (shhhhh…) admitted to being Republicans AWOL from another inauguration!  And they were still partying long after the evening’s official end-time. Seems like no was was too eager to get back to CNN or a New York winter.

Where’s Your January AVENUE?

Shhhhh, we're getting a facelift!
