On the heels of the 10th anniversary of 9/11, DKNY’s fashion show paid tribute to our great city by sending collection of red, white and blue garments down the runway, with NY’s emblem, the yellow cab, parked behind the models. The polished floral and striped outfits gave an cheerful pop of color to DKNY’s collection which also included tweed tops and plenty of black and white blazers and blouses. Karan wasn’t the only patriotic designer at the tents: Diane Von Furstenberg handed out flags while walking down the runway, Victoria Beckham observed asked for a moment of silence before her show, and Mayor Bloomberg was spotted.
