Performa 15, the much-anticipated arts festival kicked off its sixth edition of Performa Biennial, with a private dinner at the Four Seasons followed by a gala at St. Bartholomew’s Church on Sunday evening.

The event attracted notable names including Miuccia Prada, Katy Perry, Carine Roitfeld, Derek Blasberg, and Performa founder and director, RoseLee Goldberg.

Guests were treated to a spectacular performance of Fortuna Desperata—presented by Italian artist Francesco Vezzoli and principle dancer for the Bolshoi Ballet and American Ballet Theatre, David Hallberg—which explores the earliest origins of ballet from the Italian Renaissance.

This year’s Performa 15 features more than 30 artists from 12 countries across the globe. The three weeks of not-to-be-missed programming spans the categories of visual art, music, dance, poetry, film, and architecture.

Performa 15 runs from November 1-22 at locations throughout New York City.
