"Spin Bass Guitar" by Damien Hirst and Flea

If The AvenueInsider knew how to even strum two notes, we would totally score this bass guitar, a collaboration between artist Damien Hirst (the Warhol of 2011 – this guy leaves his mark on everything) and The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea. The “Spin Bass Guitar” are limited to 125 editions and come in psychedelic swirly colors or black and white with matching cases. Scoring one of these babies, which are signed by both Hirst and Flea, will set you back over 10K, but your thousands go to benefit the Silverlake Conservatory of Music which Flea recently established with his childhood Keith Barry. The LA based conservatory is committed to enriching the life of the local community through affordable and free music lessons. Maybe we’ll take a music lesson there before buying the Spin Bass Guitar.
