Who doesn’t want custom everything? And we aren’t talking about an embroidered monogram on your tote bag (though we do love initialized LL Bean bags).

Prada has launched PradaPrivate, a collection of customizable sunglasses that will be available exclusively at Sunglass Hut. To toast the chic shades, a host of A-list New Yorkers sipped champagne, danced to music by DJ Kiss and most importantly – got their Prada shades customized with everything from their initials (young fashion designer Logan Scott got an “LS,” of course) to numbers to symbols like hearts, skulls, stars and dollar signs (for that ghetto-glam look). The silver or gold symbols go on the arms of the glasses – your very own personalized designer logo.

Snatching up the for your eyes only shades were supermodel Jessica Stam, Dr. Lisa Airan (in winter white fur), Jennifer Creel, Julie Macklowe, Melissa Berkelhammer, Naeem Delbridge, Scott Buccheit, Lynn Yaeger, Flo Fulton, Emma Snowdon-Jones, Lesley Schulhof, Sam Bolton, Ann Caruso, Aaron Bakalar and Marjorie Gubelmann, to name a few. Talk about made in the shade. Now we just need to book that trip to Mustique.
