On Tuesday evening, Paramount Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures presented a star-studded premiere of the 1959 American epic historical drama film, Ben-Hur. Held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, A-listers arrived on the red carpet, dressed to the nines, no less.

Jack Huston holds the leading role of the movie, adapted from Lew Wallace’s 1880 novel, Ben Hur: A Tale of the Christ. Also being released in 3D, the film—directed by Timur Bekmambetov—stars Toby Kebbell, Rodrigo Santoro, Nazanin Boniadi, Ayelet Zurer and Morgan Freeman.

The story is based on a Jewish prince, Judah Ben-Hur, who is falsely accused of treason by his adopted brother and officer in the Roman army, Messala. Consequently, Ben-Hur is sentenced to slavery, and years later, he returns to his homeland to seek vengeance. Catch the film for all the details! Ben-Hur hits theatres on Friday, August 19.
