Project Paz raised $90,000 to benefit the many victims of extreme violence in Cioudad Juarez, one of the most dangerous, drug-infested spots in Mexico.

The night at Industrio Superstucio, titled “Project Art,” included a silent auction in conjuction with Amor por Juarez. The room was so packed, you could barely move. “I’m in a Marchesa feathered dress,” said Victoria Alexander. “This is so not the dress for a crowded party.”

I spotted Nate Berkus and his boyfriend Carlos Huber, designer Michael Bastian, Carolina Herrera Jr., Matthew Marden, Bonnie Morrison, Thakoon Panichgul, Lisa Salzer, Eddie Borgo, Sylvana Ward Durrett, Annie Churchill, Stephanie LaCava, Christian Cota, Francesco Clark, Keegan Singh, Alexa Winner, Bibhu Mohapatra, Roopal Patel, Petra Nemcova, Rafa Marquez, Miguelina Gambaccini, Kristian Laliberte, Robert Burke, George Sotelo, Karla Martinez, Luigi Tadini, writer Christopher Koulouris, Amanda Hearst and scores of other chics.

For some, it was an early night. “I have to shoot my show tomorrow,” Berkus told me. “So it’s bed time for me.” It was puring rain outside, but tht didn’t stop other party people from keeping the night rolling…next stop Boom Boom Room.
